The City of Canton intends to contract for Engineering Design and Oversight Services for the renovation of the Health Department located within the Sears Building, 420 Market Avenue N, Canton OH 44702. Project Name: Renovation of the Health Department facilities. Engineering, Design and Oversight services to remodel the remainder of the second floor of the Sears Building to allow various administrative and office functions of the health department to be relocated from the first floor to the second floor. Engineering, Design and Oversight services to expand and remodel the existing nursing clinics and WIC clinic on the first floor of the building. Reconfigure the entrance to the building to enhance security for clients and staff and facilitate the efficient flow of people in and out of the building. Complete needed reconfiguration of office areas on the first floor for nursing administration and other office functions. The scope of services may include, but not limited to: Plan & profile development Cross sections Construction details General & technical notes/specifications Engineering estimates Any required submittals to governing agencies for Project development of specifications preparation of preliminary cost estimates of improvements floor plan design and layout development and tracking of timelines to meet move-in date oversee, manage and facilitate the project work or parts of the project work, providing regular updates to the City of Canton Health Department Other services as necessary The City of Canton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed most beneficial to the City of Canton.
