Renovation of a stadium in Canton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The Director of Public Service will accept sealed bids on or before 2:00 PM local time, February 1, 2022, for the purpose of a partial roof replacement and lighting and electrical upgrades at Thurman Munson Stadium. Companies must submit a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond made payable to the City of Canton with the bid or individuals may submit a personal check. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid(s) deemed most beneficial to the City. Questions regarding plans and specifications should be addressed in writing to Purchasing Department, at purchasing@cantonohio.gov. The bidder is responsible for monitoring the above-named website for any official addenda. Please contact Director of Purchasing Andrew Roth at Andrew.roth@cantonohio.gov if you have any questions regarding this bid. The Project Cost is fairly estimated to be $125,000.00. Much of the existing roof at the Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium is in a state of disrepair and must be replaced to avoid further damage to the entire facility. This Project will involve the removal of old roofing material and coverings. The old roofing material and coverings will be replaced with new EPDM roofing and will be consistent with current industry standards. The parties to this Agreement understand and acknowledge that the Project is important to the economic development of the City of Canton and to advancing the goals appearing in the City's Comprehensive Plan. completion- 37 calendar days
