Bids are to be based on the purchase of the unit and quantities listed and meeting Ohio Department of Highway Specifications. Scope : o 200 Tons Item 301 Asphalt Concrete Base o 1,000 Tons Item 448 Type I Asphalt Concrete Both to be loaded in Township trucks, year round when needed, and at points in close proximity to place of usage. No recycled material will be considered. All material ordered as required by the Board of Trustees of Canton Township, clarification may be obtained by calling the offices of Canton Township at (330) 484-2501. All bids must be in a plainly marked envelope, sealed, and labeled 2022 Asphalt Materials Bid The successful bidders are required to submit an affidavit or verified statement as to non-liability or liability for personal property taxes in the county in which the federal taxing district is located. In awarding the bid, proximity of the asphalt plant will be considered. The Canton Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
