Surety in the form of a bid bond, certified check or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Township of Piscataway shall submit with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the Amount of 100% of total bid. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq. Division of Purchasing. All contractors named in this proposal, shall possess a valid Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq., at the time the proposal is received by the Township of Piscataway. The Township of Piscataway reserves the right to reject any or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq., and to waive any informalities that may be in the best interest of the Township.
