For the Third Street Reconstruction Project including ADA Curb Ramps using CDBG Funds as follows: Rotomill 2,900 SY; Pave with 2 Wearing Course 350 Tons; Installation of 10 ADA Curb Ramps; and other specified work - all quantities approximate. Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory bid security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Smithton Borough. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the form provided. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening thereof. Contractor is to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955 as amended and follow all applicableCDC and Pa. Department of Health guidelines and orders. Successful contractor must attach a Certification of Compliance with labor standards as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor in the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, 40 U.S.C. Sections 276(a) through 276(a)-7 and furnish the County with weekly payrolls. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory.
