Approximate quantities include: 5,300 LF of water main abandonment and filled with grout; 1,200 LF of 8" water main relay; 375 LF of 12" water main relay; 18 gate valves; 20 hydrant assemblies; 780 LF of 1.5" water service relay; 31 manhole rehabilitations; 17,500 SY of pulverize asphaltic pavement; 2,750 Tons of base aggregate dense; and 5,800 Tons of asphaltic concrete pavement. \ All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening. All Sub-contractors utilized for this Contract must be identified in the bid documents under "LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS" and all Sub-contractors must be pre-qualified prior to award of this Contract. LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 61.55, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. PROJECT FUNDING AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The project is being funded through the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce Development Block Grant. The Contractor is required to comply with Federal law standards (Davis-Bacon) and Contracting and Labor Standards (including but not limited to EO 11246) specified in the Bidding Documents. \ WAGE RATES: Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the Federal (Davis-Bacon) wage rates on the project. Copies of the wage rates are on file at the Village Hall and incorporated into the Contract Documents. BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. \ BID WITHDRAWL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of Owner.
