Solicitation Summary This Contract is for the construction of a precast panel concrete railroad crossing to replace the existing rubber panel crossing at Business Park Drive in Baltimore County on the MTA light rail line Project Cost Class C - $500,000 to $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work involves: 1. Installation and maintenance of traffic control measures on Business Park Drive. 2. Removal and disposal of existing rubber crossing panels; removal and disposal of excavated ballast and sub-ballast, existing underdrain system, existing rails, concrete ties, and clips. 3. Installation of 8" conduit within the grade crossing. 4. Furnishing and installation of precast panel concrete modular rail crossing panels. 5. Install administration furnished 115RE running rails and e-clips within the designated limits of the grade crossing, rail coating and furnish and install new ties, fasteners, ballast, sub-ballast, asphalt transition slab, and underdrain system at both approaches of the crossing. 6. Removal and full depth replacement or milling and resurfacing of existing asphalt pavement at the roadway approaches to the grade crossing to the limits shown on the Contract Drawings. 7. Replacement of concrete pavement. 8. Removal and replacement of existing pedestrian ramps adjacent to the grade crossing to ensure ADA compliance. 9. Testing all track and signal equipment to ensure successful operation before opening track to service. 10.
