Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in New Berlin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are on ile at the Ofice of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, telephone (217) 782-6206. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid a notarized certiication that the Contractor is not barred from bidding on the Contract as a result of a violation of either Section 33 E-3 or 33 E-4 of Article 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) effective January 1, 1989. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certiied check or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to New Berlin C.U.S.D. #16. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certiied check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Board of Education for New Berlin C.U.S.D. #16 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
