For the unit price items and technical services for the installation of a Standalone SCADA System. The PROPOSER may submit multiple PROPOSALS for the SCADA System Replacement. The SCADA system shall be hosted locally at Duplin County Water Department's office that will allow the Owner to monitor tank water levels; booster pump station and well pump flow rates; and automatic and manual operation of the booster pump stations, well pumps, and valve stations. The SCADA system shall allow remote access from any device from anywhere over the Internet. The SCADA system shall include but not be limited to the following components: SCADA system computer, peripherals, and SCADA HMI software; Unit CCU, Units A, Units B, Units C, Units G and Units V; Operator Interface Terminals (OITs); antennas, masts, poles, coaxial cable, and radios; water meters; limit switches; solenoids; thermostats; heaters; configuration and setup; and any other equipment and services required for a complete and fully functional system. This PROJECT is subject to the good faith efforts and goals for participation by minority businesses required by G.S. 143-128.2. The OWNER has adopted a verifiable ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority businesses in the total value of the WORK. Small, minority, women's, and disadvantaged businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit PROPOSALS. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all PROPOSALS.
