The Duplin County, North Carolina, Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified licensed professional Engineering/Surveying Firm (Consultant) to perform Survey and Engineering Services as described herein on an "as requested" basis. The selected Consultant will execute services in support of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Watershed Rehabilitation Assessment project. Attached you will find a "Request for Qualifications", which identifies the scope of services anticipated to be undertaken by the Consultant in executing the project for Duplin County. Consultants mailing responses should allow delivery time to ensure timely receipt of their proposals. The responsibility for getting the response to Duplin County's Soil and Water Conservation Department on or before the specified time and date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the responding Consultant. The County will in no way be responsible for delays caused by any occurrence. Access to sites can be provided by a Duplin County representative. Consultants providing responses shall be licensed and responsible for complying with North Carolina laws, regulations, and loca! ordinances. The Duplin County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality, to reject any and all responses to the Request for Qualifications, and to accept any responses which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Duplin County. Late qualification packages will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the Consultant. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
