**As of May 18, 2022, all bids were rejected because the amount of bids exceeds available budget. Triton Construction, CPL Architects and District Officials have reviewed the bids for Mechanical Construction Capital Improvement Bond Project and have determined that the contract should not be awarded. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form.Project consists of building improvements (including, but not limited to, boiler replacement, roofing replacement and restoration, and toilet room and locker room renovations) as described in the Contract Documents. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder The Poughkeepsie City School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any, or all, Bids or to accept the one that, in its judgement, will be in the best interest of Poughkeepsie City School District.
