The project includes the cleaning of the out of service Secondary Digester NO. 1. Interior concrete surfaces are to be cleaned, scraped, brushed, and free of residue. The piping and mechanical equipment in digester are to be cleaned, brushed, and free of residue. Contractor to provide interior access to Engineer for inspection upon completion. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of insurance, complying with the Contract Agreement. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the Bid opening.
