Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work to be performed includes two contracts. Contract No. 1 includes approximately 12,540 square yards of cold in-place recycling, 6,430 square yards of full-depth reconstruction, 2,600 square yards of select base repair, 22 ADA curb ramp installations and other related work on various Township streets. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry must be paid to all workers involved with Contract No. 1. The Work must be substantially completed within ninety (90) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Contract No. 2 includes 38,830 square yards of cape seal and 1,000 gallons of rubberized crack sealant on various Township roads. PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates are not applicable to Contract No. 2. The Work must be substantially completed within sixty (60) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/11/2022 12:00 PM Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated due to budget limitations.
