Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bid results will be tabulated and reviewed by the Board of Supervisors during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at the Township Building. The Work to be performed consists of resurfacing on Sportsman Road from Hospital Road to Texter Mountain Road including 4,780 tons of 9.5mm Superpave paving material, 2,100 square yards of select base repair 2,030 square yards of shoulder widening and related work. The Work also includes Hospital Road from Sportsman Road to Furnace Road and Furnace Road from North Galen Hall Road to Hospital Road as alternate bid items. This Work includes 2,085 square yards of select base repair. Bidders are advised that Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry must be paid to all workers involved with this Contract. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening, and the Work must be completed not more than seventy-five (75) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated as a result of budget limitations.
