Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work to be performed consists of construction of 117,477 SY of Bituminous Seal Coat and Slurry Seal-Type II on various roads throughout the Township. Bid results will be tabulated and reviewed by the Board of Supervisors during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board to be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at the Township Building. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening, and the Work must be substantially completed not more than forty-five (45) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are advised that Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry are not applicable to the project. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated as a result of budget limitations.
