Renovation of a fire / police facility in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of August 30, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of the removal of two existing condensing boilers and the installation of two new condensing boilers. The Proposal for the Boiler Replacement at the Township Police Department shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's good faith check or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of ten percent(10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. All Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60)days and the project must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond, Certificate of Insurance and Workmen's Compensation Act Affidavit in a sum not less than 100%of the total contract amount, said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Township of Spring reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints.
