CBDG STREET IMPROVEMENTS Oak Street The project involves the reconstruction of approximately 600 linear feet of Oak Street from Bliss to Front Streets. The work includes but is not limited to spot partial depth reconstruction, milling and paving, curb and sidewalk replacement, installation/replacement of ADA ramps, inlet/manhole adjustments, and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. This is a unit price bid. The contractor is responsible for the development of the quantities per the marks in the field. Sealed paper bids will be accepted for this Project. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled, but prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. The limits of work are marked out in white paint and included as notes on the project plans. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this contract. MBE/WBE requirements are per CBDG grant requirements.
