The scope of this bid includes the furnishing and delivery of up to 42,000 gallons of 15% Sodium Hypochlorite Solution. The contract shall have a base duration of one year and shall carry an option to renew for a second year, at the City's discretion. A steady supply will be ordered periodically as needed. The minimum and maximum volumes to be supplied at one time are 2,000 gallons and 3,500 gallons, respectively, though the City typically places orders for 2,500 gallons periodically. Bidders must not bid unless they are certain that they are able to deliver said materials immediately upon notification of contract award by the City. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Specifications by request upon proper notice at no charge. Please include one hard copy of the proposal and a digital copy on a media (CDR, DVDRWE, flash drive, etc.) of bidder's choice, which will not be returned and a sample contract. Bids must be submitted as outlined in the contract specifications. The award of the Contract for this work will be made pursuant to the respective Local Public Contract Law Provisions outlined in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. The right is also reserved to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the City of Asbury Park.
