Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Jourdanton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of a system-wide replacement of aging meters throughout the system with AMI capable Master Meters. Meters will be provided by the City. Work includes removal of existing meters and installation of the new meters and may also include replacing meter boxes and lids, adjusting meter box elevations and installing new shutoff valves. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing and must be received at least seven calendar days prior to the opening date. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA-approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and Women-owned business Enterprise (M/WBE) business.
