Question Cutoff Date: 4/3/2022 11:00 PM (ET) Contractor required to supply all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the relocation of generator at old Dubuque garage to the Urbana garage. Project includes the disconnection and labeling of unit from the Dubuque site, transportation to DOT Urbana Maintenance Facility site. Site prep of a new concrete pad and installation of new conduit Disconnection of existing smaller generator at the Urbana garage and reconnecting Dubuque unit to Urbana location. New connect to include connecting the brine building to the emergency generator. The brine building has never been connected to an emergency power device. Sizing of wire, breakers, disconnects switches and switch gear and conduit is to be as per electrical code. Contractors to provide plan dimensions, reinforcement and thickness of concrete pad at the time bids are submitted Contractors are to provide a materials list at the time bids are submitted. Contractor(s) interested in bidding this project are to schedule appointments to visit the Urbana site to verify conditions, and take field measurements. All electrical work completed to be compliant with Iowa Code and by a Licensed Electrician. DOT estimated start date: April 7, 2022. Note: Generator disconnection must be completed on or before May 06, 2022 due to the site being sold.
