Question Cutoff Date: 4/13/2022 02:00 PM (ET) Questions must be submitted electronically through at electronically, No questions will be answered over the phone or through email. The amount for liquidated damages is anticipated to be $1,000 for each day work remains incomplete after the time specified. This project must reach total completion within 240 calendar days from the notice to proceed Include a bid bond or a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price. This is a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute the performance bond and the payment bond on the forms provided in this solicitation. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred fifteen percent (115%) of the contract price. Successful bidder must also provide a material and labor payment bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bonds must be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, or other sureties acceptable to the Owner. The City reserves the right to waive any minor defect, irregularity, or informality in any bid. The City may also reject any or all bids without cause prior to award.
