Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of descaling and installation of eured-in-place-pipe lining for SO' of 4" sewer, 65' of 6" sewer and 100' of 8" sewer in the lower level of the Courthouse. Bids will be received for a prime Contractor on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Contractor and Sub-Contractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the Dept. of Labor or as determined by the Court of Appeal, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Also, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
