Renovation of an educational facility in Newton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work involves an addition of an elevator lobby to the existing Newton Community High School, interior & exterior demolition, & renovation of the space adjacent to the new elevator lobby addition. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to Jasper County CUSD #1, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will execute the contract, and proceed with the work. After the bids have been tabulated and evaluated, they will be presented to Jasper County CUSD #1 for approval.Bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.Should a bidder find discrepancies, ambiguities, and/or omissions for the Contract Documents, or be in doubt of their meaning, bidder shall at once, and in any event no later than Friday, April 15th, 2022, at 5:00 pm central time, notify the Owner/CM by completing the Request for Clarification form who will include a written response to all bidders via addendum.
