o 14-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel with 2" turndown on all sides with 12"
extended tray slide area,sound deadening applied between top and frame.
o Countertop to be height of 32"
o LED lights provided under countertop extension to cascade light on serving line
fronts.
Framing:
o Continuous construction featuring semi-open base fabrication.
o All serving line framing to be 1-1/4" thick wall, 304 series stainless steel, fully welded
square tube framing.
o Galvanized frames, angle iron framing or bolted stainless steel framing will not be
accepted.
o Rear legs, cross supports, and under-shelf supports manufactured of 304 series, 1
5/8" stainless steel.
o Legs provide with adjustable bullet feet.
o Serving line fronts & sides provided with flat stainless steel kick-plate.
Body Panels:
o 18-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel.
Front Panels:
o Plastic Laminate front panels. Color to be selected by Corpus Christi ISD.
Breath Guards:
o Elite breath guard posts to penetrate through countertop and mounted in 4" milled
stainless steel housing, fully welded to counter framing, under counter surface.
o Surface mount guards not accepted.
o Top and front to be 3/8" thick tempered glass.
o End panels to be 1/4 " thick tempered glass.
o Top glass to be non-adjustable and set in fixed brackets.
o Front glass to have adjustable pitch.
o Posts to be 1" OD round, fully polished stainless steel.
o All display lights to be mounted to fully welded 1" thick double hat channel.
o All heat lamps where required per drawings.
o Display lights to be UL listed LED fixtures.
o All breath-shieldsto comply with NSF 2011 regulations.
Base Construction:
o Open-base, continuous construction.
o 18-gauge, type 304 seriesstainlesssteel.
o Under counterstorage where space allows with 18" high ends and 6" high back.
Under-shelf is held back 6" from front panel forming a utility chase for plumbing and
electricalservices.
o No doors
Legs:
o Counter legsto be 6" adjustable legs.
o Counter legsto be hidden behind removable, flush,stainless-steel kick-plate.
Electrical:
o All components are to be connected to a UL Listed Load Center Box with proper
NEMA Plug Configurations.
o Allserving lines are to be fed electrical via stainlesssteel utility risers extending from
the floor to 6" above the ceiling. Utility risers are to be UL listed and provided with
removable access panels.
o Allserving linesto be pre-wired, needing only final connection to the load center
terminal block.
