Invitation for Proposal for Decommissioning of Hill Top historical non-Engineered cells of REACT Transfer Station in Humboldt The Regional Authority of Carlton Trail (REACT) Waste Management District is issuing an invitation of Proposal of Decommissioning of Hill Top Historical non-Engineered cells of REACT Transfer Station in Humboldt. The Humboldt REACT Landfill was a regional landfill that served the City of Humboldt, 26 surrounding towns and villages and 15 rural municipalities of the area. It has been converted to a transfer station. The transfer station is located 6.5 km south of Humboldt immediately west of Highway 20. Joe Lake is located at the south side of the landfill and the Humboldt Lake is at the East side on the other side of the highway. A site visit is highly recommended to understand the scope of the project.The consultant will make a detailed engineering design to decommission four historical non engineered landfill cells in the hilltop side of the historic Humboldt landfill , and perform any inspection, surveying, research required for the job.
