Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of replacement of air handler AH-1, boilers, controls, fire dampers in pool area and north mechanical room, The areas in the building related to this work will be shut down for a period from August 15, 2022 to November 12, 2022. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Replacement of the existing natural gas fired air handling unit AH-1 with a new hydronic air handling unit. (b) Replacement and expansion of existing boilers located in mechanical penthouse associated Work. (c) Replacement/upgrade of the existing controls including damper actuators of existing air handling unit AH-2 located in the south mechanical room. (d) Replacement of all fire dampers on AH-1 and AH-2 supply air ductwork between the main- floor and the basement. (e) Replacement of all fire dampers in north and south mechanical rooms. (f) Installation of new fire rated ceiling in north stairwell and associated electrical, mechanical and sprinkler line modifications. (g) Repair north mechanical room fire separation walls Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
