The Public Works Department requests rates to perform manhole restoration within the City of Bonner Springs. Manhole Restoration consists of preparation of the existing Manhole structure and application of cementitious coating with H2S (hydrogen sulfide) inhibitor. Some manholes will require that the contractor apply a top coat of epoxy or polyurethane to provide for H2S protection. Rate should include prices for both methods. All voids within the structure shall be filled with shrink proof grout prior to the application of the cementitious material. The work required must be completed at several locations within the City during 2022.
