2023 ANNUAL MOWING SERVICES Occupational License: The successful contactor must have a City of Bonner Springs Occupational License to perform work within the City. Occupational Licenses can be obtained from the City Clerk's office. Insurance: The successful Contractor(s) shall provide a certificate of insurance, which includes the City of Bonner Springs as an additional insured, to the City Clerk's Office. General Liability for each occurrence shall be $500,000 per occurrence/$1,000,000 aggregate and Workers' Compensation limits shall be $500,000 Sealed bids must be marked as specified by each bid packet requirement. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender. Bids will be evaluated by the City based on price, quality, experience of the Contractor, responsiveness of the contractor, adaptability of the particular materials and equipment to the specific use intended and conformity to specifications. The City reserves the right to select the bid that best suits its need whether the price is the lowest or not and reserves the right to reject all bids or waive informalities. The City of Bonner Springs seeks quotes from qualified mowing contractors to perform mowing and trimming services at various locations throughout the City, as a result of unabated Municipal Code Violations for Tall Grass and Weeds. Please include on the bid sheet an hourly rate for mowing. The total price should include the rate for mowing, trimming and the removal of grass and weeds from sidewalks, driveways and other areas where necessary.
