Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City reserves the right to select the bid that best suits its need whether the price is the lowest or not and reserves the right to reject all bids or waive informalities. Construct the designated class of HMA-Commercial Grade asphalt pavement, as shown in the Contract Documents. Class A HMA-Commercial Grade is intended for all areas that are not Class B locations. Class A includes permanent traffic areas and temporary traffic areas with moderate to high volumes of vehicular traffic such as driving lanes, auxiliary lanes and shoulders. Class B HMA-Commercial Grade is intended for non-traffic areas and short-term temporary traffic areas with a low volume of vehicular traffic. Work shall be completed as specified below and in the specifications and requirements. The contractor shall be responsible for all traffic control, temporary detours if required, signage as necessary, and public notification (24-48 hour).
