Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Fort Edward, New York. Design plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of December 13, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. Selection for general contractor is expected to take place in 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: A new shared DPW facility is proposed to be constructed on the site of the existing Town of Fort Ann and Washington County DPW property located at 11259 State Route 149 in the Town of Fort Ann. Both current facilities would be demolished as part of the project. The property is owned by the Town of Fort Ann (15.61 +/-acres) and the County (1.28 +/- acres). The location of the new facility will consider potential future construction at the site for additional government facilities. Engineering and architectural services will involve Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Construction Administration; including preparing local site plan review documents and environmental quality review documents as needed. The Engineer will provide the following professional services: 1. Building Design 2. Structural Engineering 3. Civil Engineering 4. HVAC Engineering 5. Plumbing 6. Electrical Engineering 7. Construction Management 8. Environmental review 9. Site plan review All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted no later than April 19, 2022. Answers to questions and requests for clarification will be compiled and posted as an addendum on the County's website no later than April 21, 2022, 4:30 PM PROPOSERS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS STATED HEREIN. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY DISQUALIFY THE PROPOSER. NOTHING CONTAINED IN THIS PROPOSAL SHOULD BE ASSUMED TO BE A GUARANTEE OF FUTURE ENGAGEMENT OF SERVICES. The County reserves the right to award all or part of the project and to reject any or all proposals. Incomplete proposals that do not address all of the requested components will not be accepted for review and consideration. All respondents will be notified of the selection as soon as possible after the submission deadline. The County may conduct interviews with one or more proposers. The County reserves the right to reject all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
