Renovation of an educational facility in Wingham, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed tenders addressed to The Avon Maitland District School Board will be received at the Facilities Department Building which is located at the Board office 62 Chalk Street North, Seaforth, Ontario N0K 1W0, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. A Site Meeting will be held at the school located at 231 Madill Drive, Wingham, Ontario, on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site. The project involves abatement of the existing textured ceiling by allowance, complete with new overhead mechanical ductwork and lighting upgrades. Also included in the project scope is replacement of the gymnasium folding partition with a new divider curtain (also by allowance), as well as spray-applied fire proofing to underside of structure, a new drywall ceiling and bulkhead above the balcony/mezzanine area and conversion of the folding partition storage area into a new storage room. Bid Bond amount of $90,000.00 (ninety thousand dollars) is required to accompany tender. Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond.
