Renovation of a medical facility in Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of May 18, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded sometime between July 1 and Nov 1. Project Location: 200 Springs Rd, Bedford, MA 01730. Magnitude Of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000. SOW: The work is to be performed in Building 10. (SPS) department is currently experiencing humidity and temperature issues in the Decontamination room, Clean room, and adjacent clean and decontamination spaces. The SPS facility operates with 100 % outside air. This affects the operation of the SPS spaces during days with high outside humidity. The areas in SPS facility experience elevated increase in temperature. The HVAC system will automatically open the heating valve to 100 % when the outside air temperature drops to 35 F to prevent coil from freezing. Due to VA requirements, a dehumidifier could not be put in the actual clean spaces to reduce the humidity. DB proposal shall address the humidity issue and temperature issue. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
