Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The tender encompasses two construction projects; one being a creek diversion and culvert replacement project at Eagle Creek and the other a rain garden project at Canada Way at Royal Oak Avenue. The creek diversion and culvert replacement project includes clearing and grubbing, installation of a diversion manhole, installation of approximately 210m of HDPE storm sewer and impact baffle outlet structure, removal of existing culvert and installation of approximately 6m of CSP arch culvert with headwalls, imported creek substrate, rip rap, landscaping, trail and road restoration, and associated Works. Erosion and sediment control plans, dewatering, flow diversion, and Environmental Monitoring are a requirement for the duration of the Work. The rain garden project includes Site grading Work comprised of approximately 140m3 of excavation to onsite re-use, and approximately 66 tonnes of import embankment fill. Other Work includes approximately 114m2 of 300mm thick clear crush, approximately 128m2 of geotextile, approximately 10 tonnes of river rock, approximately 21m of PVC storm sewer, catchbasin leads, perforated pipe, lawn drain, monitoring wells, landscaping, and associated Works.
