As of July 28, 2022, project has not been awarded and no timeline of award was established. Wicomico County is seeking bids from qualified Vendors to contract to for the labor, materials, and equipment in order to successfully complete the Hunters Mill Pond Retrofit in conformity with the requirements contained herein Bid Documents. This project will renovate and enhance an aging stormwater detention basin serving an unincorporated area of Wicomico County. It will increase the storage capacity of the basin so that it can handle more intense storms without allowing downstream flooding while also reducing downstream pollution via water quality treatment. This project is funded by a Flood Management Grant through the Maryland Department of the Environment and partially through Wicomico County. Construction bonding will be required by the successful bidder and State Wage Rates requirements will apply if total bid prices exceed $250,000.00 per State regulation The last day for questions will be noon on Monday, April 25, 2022 Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of the solicitation.
