Howe Township supervisors awarded the bid to: Jefferson Paving Core Work 10,560 SY @$4.53/SY for a total of $47,836.80 and optional work of 2,945 SY for a total of $14,047.65. 10,560 SY Asphalt Surface Treatment Modified. 2,945 SY Asphalt Surface Treatment Modified. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Furnish and place a Asphalt Surface Treatment Modified, Use E-1 Prime prior to placing AASHTO #67 Aggregate then follow the second layer using AASHTO #8
