Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
This project is located in Section 23, Township 1 South, Range 311 West, in Escambia County, Florida. The bridge over Bayou Marcus Creek is beyond its service life and is being replaced with a new, pre-cast, low-profile bridge. The existing bridge will remain in place while the South-half of the bridge is built. The existing bridge will then be demolished, and the North-half will be constructed. Bridge footers will be pile design. Test piles shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Oversight will be done by CEI or County Inspection. Contractor should also allow for bridge purchase in their bid tab with the option of the County directly purchasing the bridge.
