The work to be completed in conformance with the Contract Document for the mentioned project includes: crack filling all cracks, spray patching all alligator cracks and pot holed areas, application of Class A black/grey granite Chip Seal on various streets, approximately 39,755 square yards, pavement marking on various streets The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid security in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price made payable to the City of Monona as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The City of Monona reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids.Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Scope of Work This work shall consist of furnishing and installing all inlet protection, furnishing and installing manhole and water valve box cover protection, and furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the application of Bituminous Seal Coating as directed. Description The work shall consist of bituminous seal coating with stone cover aggregate. The work shall be done in accordance with Section 475, State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation "2017 Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction" with the special provisions for aggregate below
