Site work and paving for a road / highway in McGrath, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for: Maintenance grading on state forest roads in the Aitkin Area, McGrath work station (approximately 19 miles of road). Included is a list of the major state forest roads upon which the Contractor may be called to work. See attached vicinity map. Occasionally, work may be necessary on additional roads in the same vicinity, as directed by the Project Supervisor. Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection. Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.
