Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Whitesboro, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,200-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

**As of May 9, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The TOWN OF WHITESTOWN will accept bids for General Construction under a Single Prime Contract for the new Concessions Building Project located at the Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Memorial Park, 5230 Judd Road, Whitesboro, NY. The work consists of a new 1,200 SF Concessions Building with 432 SF covered patio. The new building houses concessions, toilet rooms and storage. The Town of Whitestown is a Tax Exempt Municipality and therefore shall not be charged taxes on material or labor. The Town of Whitestown shall be issuing the building permit on its behalf for this project and therefore the Contractor shall not include building permit fees in its bid. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check must accompany each bid proposal in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the base bid proposal, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual bid opening. Attendance is mandatory for all Prime Bidders and failure to attend is sufficient cause for rejection of a Bid in the sole discretion of the Owner, unless arrangements are made by the Bidder to inspect the site with the Architect at some mutually convenient time, at least one week prior to the date Bids are due. All RFI's shall be submitted via fax (315-797-4619) or email (m.lisberg@a-carchitects.com) to Alesia & Crewell Architects, P.C., attention Mark Lisberg. RFI's shall be typed or neatly printed on company letterhead or fax transmittal, and shall identify the drawing and/or specification the RFI refers to. RFI's will not be accepted via phone call. Substitutions shall only be accepted where specifically indicated in each technical specification section. Substitutions shall be submitted for review and approval prior to the Pre-Bid Conference. Substitutions shall only be accepted from the Prime Contractor. Substitutions received directly from a sub- contractor or supplier will not be reviewed. Approved substitutions shall be posted in the Addendum. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids.
