Renovation of an educational facility in Stony Brook, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of June 10, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to State Finance Law 163.6 and NYS Education Law 355(5) (a), for the above noted service. A sealed bid will not be held. This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State small businesses, businesses certified pursuant to Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and, if applicable, businesses selling commodities or technology that are recycled or remanufactured. Question Submission Close Date 4/18/2022 12:00 PM EDT Vendor will be required to sand the current court to the bare wood from bleacher to bleacher. This is an area of approximately 97' W X 117' L. Vendor will be required to layout and paint all game lines for volleyball and basketball, as well as a large center court logo, conference logos, and additional words per finalized design per the approved design Vendor will be required to layout and paint lines for four (4) practice courts - half courts only. These lines will not run through the game court. Vendor will be required to use Hillyard Basecoat finish as well as a Hillyard Oil base finish (same as Arena court) that is approved by the Athletic Department. Two (2) finishes will be required.
