As of May 18, 2022, bids received were rejected by the client. No definite date for the rebid. The work of this single bid project includes replacement of existing building MEP systems with modern equivalents. Existing exterior building components such as doors and windows will be replaced to improve the energy efficiency of the building envelope. In addition, new fire protection and fire alarm systems will be installed to meet Fund directives. Interior spaces will be updated and reconfigured to meet the latest SUNY space standards and UPD accreditation requirements. The existing roof will be replaced with a new metal roof and an interior elevator will be constructed internal to the building to meet ADA requirements. Hazardous materials abatement is included in the work. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
