Renovation of a parking garage in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The City reserves the right to cancel or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in any Bid. PAINTING SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Contractor will provide labor required to paint the walls, columns, and metal bumpers (Tower Only) & piping in 2 parking garages. 2. Contractor will provide labor required to paint the walls, floors, handrails, fire piping in 2 parking garage stairwells (Color TBD for all locations). a) Center in the Square Garage (11 Campbell Ave) Approximately 60,000 sq ft of garage walls and columns throughout deck and stairwells. (5 levels) i. Walls in garage and stairwell will be painted with A100 gloss . Metal beams on ceilings will be painted with re-coatable epoxy primer and Macropoxy 646. ii. Fire pipes, and handrails in the stairwell will be painted with oil-based semi-gloss industrial enamel. iii. Floors in the stairwell will be painted with Macropoxy semi-gloss. iv. Elevator doors will be painted with pro-industrial waterbased Acrolon high gloss. b) Tower Garage (10 Jefferson St) Approximately 175,000 sq ft of walls and columns throughout deck and stairwell. (7 levels) i. Walls in garage, stairwell, and elevator lobbies will be painted with A100 gloss. ii. Metal bumpers in the garage will be painted with Macropoxy semi-gloss. iii. Fire pipes, and handrails in the stairwell will be painted with oil-based semi-gloss industrial enamel. iv. Elevator doors will be painted with pro-industrial water based Acrolon high gloss. v. Floors in the stairwell and elevator lobbies will be painted with Macropoxy semi- gloss. c) Add-On (quoted separately) - Striping and arrows will be painted with traffic paint (water or solvent, recommendation appreciated) for both Center in the Square and Tower Garages.
