Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pacifica, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of March 19, 2025, construction has begun on this project and it is anticipated to be completed in October of 2025. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. Ultraviolet Disinfection System Replacement Project (P034) 3rd Party Constructability Review The Plant currently uses the Trojan UV4000, an ultraviolet ("UV") system, for disinfection. The manufacturer stopped supporting this system as of July 2022, so the City wishes to replace the UV disinfection system with an upgraded disinfection system. The Ultraviolet Disinfection Replacement Project (Project) was initiated in the Spring of 2022 to replace the existing system. Design of the Project is ongoing, with the issued for bid documents expected to be completed in March 2024. The consultant will provide a constructability review of the 90% design documents for the UV system and 75% design documents for the new electrical duct bank (Design Documents) for incorporation into the final issued for bid set. This scope shall include a site visit by the consultant, a detailed review of the Design Documents and a design review meeting with the City and Design Engineer. There is no pre-submittal meeting for this Project. Deadline to Submit Questions Related to the RFP October 13, 2023 @ 5:00 PM The City's Project Manager is Louis Sun at lsun@pacifica.gov
