Bidders may be either a PENNDOT prequalified Prime or Sub Contractor and must supply proof of prequalification. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Butler Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract and a certificate of liability insurance acceptable to the municipality prior to the start of any work. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages applies to this project. All bids will be opened publicly and read at the regular scheduled meeting of the Butler Township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Butler Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
