Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Ashland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of June 16, 2022, this project has been awarded to Performance Construction Group and the awarded amount is $344,437.39** Malones Bridge Replacement Project Bid results will be posted online at portal ,Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Demolition and removal of existing single span steel stringer bridge, site preparation and installation of a precast concrete arch, roadway restoration on approaches, guiderail installation and vegetative restoration. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project exhibits. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Butler Township reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
