Site work and paving for a civil project in Monticello, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing: Lake Road Resurfacing This project will consist of resurfacing approx. 6.3 miles of Lake Road from US 19 to Cocroft Road. In addition, 3' paved shoulders will be constructed along with drainage improvements, replacement of striping and signage. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. Completion date for this project will be 180 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $500.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope your company name, that this is a sealed bid, and the bid number. The original bid plus two (2) copies should be included. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of the County.
