Contract No: 22-023, 00-123 Project No: Z-022-099 The project involves of the demolition and replacement of an existing parking lot and trail, within Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, located in Willowbrook, Illinois. The major components consist of demolition and removal of 3,960 SY of asphalt paving and basecourse, removal of 1,425 SY of limestone screening trail and basecourse, and a removal of latrine and pit vault. 5,875 CY of total earthwork; placement of 1,070 tons of hot-mix asphalt and placement of 3,580 CY of aggregate base (CA6); installation of 2,265 LF of concrete curb and gutter; installation of 8,325 SF of concrete pads and sidewalks; and placement of 435 SY of limestone screenings at 2" depth. Additional components of work includes, installation of stormwater conveyance systems, pavement striping, and miscellaneous landscape restoration work including 2.5 acres of native and turf seeding with installation of erosion control blanket.
