Site work and paving for a civil project in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and water / sewer project.
The successful bidder will be required to install three (3) pressure reducing valve (PRV) chambers (Dundas Street, Avenue Road, and Clyde Road), including site restoration for each site. The Region has awarded a Supply Contract for the steel PRV chambers to be prefabricated by EFI Solutions. Each chamber is of nearly identical fabrication, with minor differences required to suit the individual site conditions. The Supply Contract with EFI Solutions will be novated to the successful bidder. The Novation Agreement is included as Section F of the Tender document with an allowance provided in the Bid Form for payment to EFI Solutions to supply the PRV Chamber. The Novation Agreement for the supply of the PRV chamber is required to transfer responsibilities for payment, coordination, installation, commissioning, and warranty for the PRV chambers to the Contractor.
