Renovation of a medical facility in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The purpose of this project is to penetrate the building wall and door at the location of the lobby window, which the existing window will be demolished. The concrete wall portion (ten [10] inches) and the façade (four [4] inches) will be cut away to provide a door opening. An additional thirty-six (36) inch door will be added to the existing canopy for the purpose of installing and maintaining the heat pump condensing unit. Additionally, the scope of this project will include extending and modifying the existing canopy; providing heating and cooling for the entire canopy; and providing electric distribution to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit. The existing electric panel in Electric Closet G-169 shall be reused for the electric distribution to the HVAC unit. The only plumbing covered in this project is condensation drains from the HVAC evaporator(s) to an external connection point. Budget: 250K - 500K Duration 90 Calendar Days After hours work required for Phase 1 (Demolition of Window Area and Door Installation). Work shall be completed on weekends between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
