On behalf of the North St. Francois County R-1 School District, Brockmiller Construction, Inc., the Construction Manager, will receive Bids for the North County Multiple Facility MEP Upgrade Projects to be performed at the Intermediate School and High School, and Shower Upgrade Project at the Middle School located in Bonne Terre and Desloge, Missouri. Associated Bid Packages are as follows: Bid Package #1 Mechanical Bid Package #2 Electrical Bid Package #3 Plumbing Bid Package #4 General Trades Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check, or draft certified or issued by a state or national bank in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid payable to North St. Francois County R-1 School District, or in lieu thereof, the Bidder may furnish a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Such bond shall be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Missouri, and made payable to North St. Francois County R-1 School District as a guarantee that such Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner for the Work described in the Bid and furnish bond as specified. The cost of Performance Bond and a Material and Labor Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the proposal shall be listed separately from the bid amount on the bid form. At the Construction Manager s discretion, the bond amount may be added to the successful Bidders contract amount. All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws. All Contractors and Subcontractors shall conform to the most current State of Missouri, Division of Labor Standards, St. Francois County, Wage Order in accordance with Section 290.262 CUM. Supp. RSMo (1994). All Contractors and Subcontractors shall conform to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law Sections 290.550 to 290.580 Public Works During Excessive Unemployment, if such provision applies to this Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Bids will be reviewed by the School District, the Construction Manager and Design Consultants following the reading of bids. No bids shall be withdrawn after the receiving of bids, without consent of the Board of Education, for a period of sixty (60) days after the schedule time of closing proposals.
